James Williams fifty acres of land in Duplin County Et. of the No. Et. and North side of
Burncoat swamp. Begining at a gum George Smiths corner on the Creek. Then his line
No. 25 Wt. 34 poles to a pine by a white oak stump on William Graddys line. Thence No.
60 Et. 94 poles to a pine. Thence No. 10 Et. 94 poles to a pine on Graddys line. Thence
his line So. 22 Et. 126 poles to a red oak by the swamp. Then continued 20 pole to a
stake at the Creek and down the same to the first station.
Dated November the fifty 1787

side of Panther branch above the mouth of white oak swamp. Begining at a cypress
ashe and maple on the creek run. On Lewis Barfields line. Thence as the same No. 23
Et. 50 poles to a pine his corner. Thence his other line No. 33 Wt. 74 poles to a red
oak on Saml. Jones's line. Thence his line Et. 110 poles to a stake his corner by a large
pine. Thence Mills Mumfords line So. 104 poles to a water oak & ashe at the Creek.
Thence down the same as John Williams's line to the begining.
Dated November the fifty 1787
