James Kenan two hundred acres of land in Duplin County the west side of Stewarts
Creek and on both sides of Cow Branch. Begining at a pine the 6th and last corner
of his survey of 142 acres bought from David Thompson. Thence as said lines No.
30 Wt. 140 poles to a pine. So. 49 Wt. 130 poles to a pine. No. 84 Wt. 40 poles
to a pine by the Grassey Pond. Thence along his line of 400 acre survey No. 160
poles to a pine thence No. 50 Et. 126 pole to a pine. Thence So. 30 Et. 360 poles
to a pine thence So. 27 Wt. 240 po. to a pine thence No. 68. Wt. on or near
Benjamin Williams line 64 poles thence by his own line to the begining.

Branch. Begining at a small white oak by a small branch his own and Lemuel Guys
corner thence as his line So. 52 Wt. 248 po. to a pine his corner. Thence as his
other line up the Horse pen Branch So. 60 Et. 180 poles to a red oak stump and
pine his corner. Thence as his other line No. 23 Et. 20 poles to a pine his corner
of another survey. Thence on or near to said line So. 80 Et. 155 poles to a pine his
corner. Thence No. 20 Wt. crossing the Great Hogg Pond 264 poles to a pine on
Guys line and with the same Wt. about 30 poles to the first station.

survey which he bought from David Thompson. Thence runing North 70 Wt. 12 poles
to a pin and black jack. Thence North 20 Wt. 290 poles to a pine on James Thompsons
line. Thence So. 60 Et. 230 poles to a pine his corner by the end of the Gassey Pond.
Thence So. 2 Et. 200 poles to the first station.

line crossing main Buckhall and the old road. So. 140 poles to a white oak red oak
and pine his corner. Thence as his line of another survey Et. 60 poles to a white oak.
Thence So. 42 poles to a pine by a branch. Thence as said Kenans ouwn line So. 60
Et. 230 poles to a pine by the end of Gassey Pond. Thence No. 280 poles to a pine.
Thence No. 70 Wt. 280 poles to a pine thence to the begining.
