(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book B Page 42 James Dickson two hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the North Side of Maxwell Swamp and East Side of Folley Branch. Begining at as ashe at the run of folley about one hundred and fifty yards above the mouth of woolf pit branch Edward Dicksons uper corner. Thence as his line So. 20 Et. 44 poles to a pine Richard Williams's corner lower side wolf pit branch thence as his line No. 25 Et. 160 poles to a stake in a gulley 28 poles wide of the branch. Thence his other line Et 18 poles to a pine and black jack two poles from his corner and 17 poles from Clugstons red oak corner thence to and with Clugstons line No. 22 Wt. 307 pole to a pine and bay sapling in the North Edge of the Big Pond thence along Joseph Dicksons line So. 25 Wt. 146 poles to a white oak his corner in the head of Folley Branch. Thence as the same by various courses to the first station. Dated the Tenth Day of November 1784
