John Southerland two hundred acres of land in Duplin County including
his own improvements on the South side of the Pritty branch. Begining
at a red oak near said branch, William McCurdeys corner and runs along
his line No. 5 Et. 80 poles to a pine. Thence So. 45 Et. 72 pole to a pine
Felix Kenans corner. Thence along his line So. 10 Et. 90 pole to a pine &
white oak his corner. Thence So. 30 Wt. 90 pole to a lightwood stake and
small pine, Lewis Thomases corner. Thence along his line No. 88 Wt. 180
poles to a pine. Thence No. 140 pole to a white oak & black jack near
McCurdeys line thence to the begining.
