John Dickson two hundred acres of land in Duplin County West side of the No. East 
River and on both sides of Island Creek joining and  between Frederick Wells's Henry 
Allen & Lewis Thomas's lines.  Begining at the red oaks on the No. East side of Island 
Creek Wells's and Cooks corner.  Thence with Wells's line North 90 pole to a pine his 
corner.  Thence West 100 poles to a pine his and Allens corner.  Thence with Allens 
line No. 19 East 180 poles to a pine his corner.  Thence East 160 poles to a stake in 
Thomas's line.  Thence with his line So. 166 poles to a pine his corner.  Thence to the 
begining.
