John Cook Junr. Seventy acres of land in Duplin County on both sides
of the Main Road and Cooks branch of Island Creek. Begining at a red
oak and black jack William Allens corner the Et. side the branch.
Thence William Allens line So. 70 Wt. 136 poles to a stake by Allens
corner. Thence So. 6 Et. 34 poles to a gum & water oak in branch on
Cooks line. Thence Cooks line So. 80 Et. 166 poles to a stake.
Thence to the begining.

west side the No. East River on the branches of Island Creek.
Begining at a water oak in Immanuels branch. Thence the said
Emanuel Bowzers line So. 15 Wt. 32 pole to a pine his corner.
Thence So. 50 Wt. 116 poles to a pine thence So. 10 Et. 54 poles
to a stake at said Cooks old corner 160 acres. Thence the old
paten line No. 70 Et. 268 poles to the corner said to be a red oak
by the ???? thence down the creek the old line So. 24 Et. 100
poles to a red oak the first station of the old 160 acre survey
thence crossing the Creek along or nigh to John Avers line No.
50 Et. 120 pole. Thence No. 46 poles to a stake thence to
and with John Cook Senrs. line due west 174 poles to a stake
at the confluence of Island Creek and Emanuels branch.
Thence up the run of Emanuels branch the various courses
180 poles to the first station.
