John Cook four hundred acres of land in Duplin County on both sides of Island
Creek thence as his line Wt. 90 poles to a pine his corner thence as his other
line No. 90 poles to a pine his and Henry Allens corner thence as Allens line
No. 70 Wt. 196 poles to a pine his corner thence So. 30 Wt. 206 poles to a
stake on John Parkers line thence to and with Emanuel Bowzers line So. 77
Et. 260 poles to a pine his corner. Thence as his other line So. 15 Wt. 48
poles to a water oak at the run of Bowzers Branch thence down the swamp
as it meanders with John Cook juniers line 180 pole to a gum at the mouth on
Island Creek thence Et. 70 po. to a stake thence No. 200 poles to stake
thence to the begining.
