John Avers one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the 
South side of Island Creek.  Begining at a black jack near the 
long pond.  Thence So. 90 pole to a pine near the head of Piney 
Branch.  Thence Et. 178 pole to a pine by the Main Road near 
the Round Pocoson.  Thence No. 90 pole to a stake.  Thence 
to the begining.

Dated the Twenty ninth day of October 1782
