James Outlaw To Thomas Hunter
Deed 140 acres
This Indenture made the twenty first day of Decemter in the year of our Lord 1790
Between James Outlaw of the State of No. Carolina and County of Duplin on the one part and
Thomas Hunter of the said State and County of Dobbs of the other part Witnesseth that I
the said James Outlaw In consideration of the sum of forty pounds specie to me in Hand
paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents by Thomas Hunter the Receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself therewith fully satisfied and do Discharge the
said Thomas Hunter his Heirs and assigns forever by these presents have given granted
Bargained and sold and confirmed unto the said Thomas Hunter his Heirs and assigns forever
one certain Tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Duplin Bounded
as follows viz. In the fork of the great Branch joining Moses Standlies line begining at
a Pine on Standlies line and runs with his line Et. 180 poles to a Blackjack thence No.
132 poles to a jack thence to the Begining Wt. 180 poles to a blackjack near a drean of
the great Branch thence to the Begining. Containing one Hundred and fifty acres. To
have and to hold the said bargained premises with all the previledges thereunto belong
to him the said Thos. Hunter his Heirs Excrs. admrs. & assigns forever to his or their
proper use and benefit and that the said Thomas Hunter his heirs and assigns shall at
all times hereafter by virtue of these presents Lawfully possess and enjoy the Bargained
premises with all the previledges thereunto Belonging or in any wise appurtaining and I
the said James Outlaw do further bind myself my Heirs Excrs. admrs. and assigns firmly.
By these presents do warrant and defend and will warrant forever the said Thomas Hunter
his heirs Excrs. admrs. and assigns in Quiet possession of the Bargained premises against
the Lawfull claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof I
the said James Outlaw have set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
