James Morris To William Ward Pollock Deed 27 December 1791

(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 447 James Morris To William Ward Pollock Bill of Sale for a Horse Called Vallient State of No. Carolina Waine County Know all men by these presents that I James Morris of Duplin County and State aforesaid have Bargained and sold unto William Ward Pollock of Duplin County one Bay horse called Vallient for Twenty five pounds to me in hand paid which said Horse I do forever warrant and Defend unto the said William Ward Pollock his heirs Executors administrators or assigns forever against the Lawfull Claim or Cliams of any person or persons whatsoever. In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th of December 1791. Wt. Treasant James Morris Solomon Barfield State of No. Carolina Duplin County January Term 1792 Then was the within Bill of Sale acknowledged in open Court and ordered to be Registered. Test W.
