Granted to Jacob Rhodes Fifty Acres of Land in Duplin County on the North side
of Limestone Swamp begining at a white Oak Benjamin Rhodes,s lower corner
in the Swamp a little below the branch Adjoining said Benjamin Rhodes,s
Plantation and runs N.Forty degrees E. with said Benjamin Rhodes,s line Twelve
Chain to a red Oak. Thence N.Sixty West Twenty eight Chains to a pine in his
own line. Thence South with that line Nineteen Chains to a pine by the road.
Thence west with his other line Sixty three Chains to a black Gum. Thence South
five Chains to Isaac Thomas,s line in the run of the Swamp - Thence up the
Meanders of the run with his line to William Thomas,s and with his to Benjamin
Rhodes,s and with his down to the Beg- Dated the 16th day of November in the
15th year or our independence and in the year of Our Lord 1790.
