Jacob Beverit one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the So. Side of Maxwell Swamp 
and North Side of Parsons Branch on both sides of Buck Branch above his home place.  
Begining at a pine the said corner of his fifty acres survey patened by Timothy Murphy.  
Thence No. 40 Wt. 140 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 50 Et. 163 poles to a pine.  Thence 
So. 40 Et. 100 poles to a stake between two pines (Continued on page 36) Thence So. 
40 Et. 70 poles to a stake thence to and with his old line.  No. 78 Wt. 100 poles to a stake.  
Thence as his other line to the begining.
