This plan represents five hundred and fifty five acres of land in 
Duplin County late the property of William Tryon Esqr. on the 
north side of Rockfish Creek.  Begining at a pine and Cypress 
on the creek bank.  The lower corner of another survey that lies 
above and runs out along said lower line.  North three hundred 
and eighty poles to three pines by a pocoson.  Thence East two 
hundred and forty poles to a pine.  Thence South three hundred 
and sixty poles to a water oak & cypress on the creek bank.  
Thence up the creek as it meanders to the first station.

Dated the 24th day of October 1786

This plan represents six hundred and forty acres of land in Duplin 
County late the property of William Tryon Esqr. in the fork of the 
No. East of Cape Fear River and Rockfish Creek.  Begining at a 
water oak and a cypress in Rockfish Creek bank the lower corner 
or another survey.  Being about one mile above the mouth of Rockfish 
creek and runs thence No. three hundred and sixty poles to a pine.  
Thence East two hundred and ninety poles to a stake at the River.  
Thence down the meanders thereof to the mouth of Rockfish creek 
and up Rockfish creek as it meanders to the begining.

Duplin County late the property of William Tryon Esqr.  Begining 
at a small cypress on the North bank of Rockfish creek about fifty 
yards below the mouth of Cummins's creek.  Thence No. four 
hundred poles to a pine.  Thence East two hundred and forty poles 
to three pines by a pocoson.  Thence South three hundred and 
eighty poles to a  pine & cypress in the edge of Rockfish creek.  
Thence up the creek as it meanders to the first station.
