Isom Shuffield one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin
County on the East side of the North East River including his
house and part of the improvements. Begining at a water oak
and pine on the River Bank above the landing and runs thence
North 75 Et. 36 poles to a stake at the first station of Jesser
Coxes 400 acre survey thence down along the inside line of
said patent. So. 15 Et. 186 poles to a stake thence along
James Lockharts line So. 75 Wt. 114 poles to a black jack
thence So. 20 Wt. 22 poles to a pine Lockharts corner of
land patented by James Picket thence along that line So.
65 Wt. 208 poles to a white oak as the river bank thence
up the river by various courses as it meanders to the first
station.
