Hezekiah Blizzard To George Outlaw
Deed for 150 acres lands
This indenture made this first day of February in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and eighty eight. Between Hezekiah Blizzard of the County of
Duplin and State of No. Carolina of the one part, and George Outlaw of the County of
Darlington & State of South Carolina of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said
Hezekiah Blizzard for and in consideration of the sum of thirty pounds lawfull money
of No. Carolina to him in hand paid before the sealing & delivering of these presents,
the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath given granted bargained & sold &
by these presents doth give grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto the said George
Outlaw his heirs & assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land lying & being
in the County of Darlington in the State of South Carolina, formerly Craven County,
bounded when taken up on all sides by vacant lands, & hath such shape courses & marks
as the plott annexed to the patent doth represent, containing one hundred and fifty
acres granted to Richard Blizzard, patent bearing date the tenth day of January 1771.
To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all houses orchards ways waters
& water courses hereditaments commodities & advantages of every kind whatsoever unto
the same belonging or in any way appertaining, & the said George Outlaw his heirs and
assigns shall and may from time to time & at all times forerev hereafter by free virtue
of these presents, lawfully peacebly and quietly have hold occupie possess & every
the said bargaomed premises, freely acquit & discharge off and from all former gifts
grants bargains sails will mortgages or intails & from the lawfull claim or claims of
him the said Hezekiah Blizzard his heirs & executors administrators and assigns & every
of them. In witness whereof I the said Hezekiah Blizzard have hereunto set my hand &
seal this day & date above written.
