W. G. Jones and others to H. B. Dunn and Wife -- 1892

(Transcribed by David Dunn) This deed made the 3rd day of November A. D. 1892 by W. G. Jones and wife Nancy Jones of the County of Johnston In the State of North Carolina, Charles Brock, Guardian for his children, Marshall Sullivan, S. D. Smith and Wife Elizabeth Smith, James R. Grady and wife Lucricia Grady, Jethro Jones and wife Sallie Jones, Merrill Sullivan of the State of California, Benjamin Dunn and wife Mary Dunn and James Sullivan, all of the county of Duplin in the State of North Carolina, except Jones and Sullivan as above noted. To H. B. Dunn and wife Martha Dunn parties of the second part of Duplin County N.C. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty Dollars to the parties of the first part in hand paid. The receipt where of is his duty acknowledged, have bargained and sold unto the parties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land in Kenansville Township, Duplin County N. C. on the west side of the N.E. side bounded as follows, : Begins at a stake in the Kenansville road the 3rd corner of lot N. 3, and runs S 64 W about 270 poles to a stake in the back line, thence with back line secured to a stake thence N 64 Poles to a stake in the back line thence down the road 16 ¼ Poles to the beginning containing ?? acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described land and premises to them the parties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever, and from the lawful claims of and all persons, date above.
