George Williams two hundred acres of land in Duplin County West
side the North East River and North side the Grove Swamp. Begining
at the mouth of the Upper run of the Grove Swamp on the River at the
confluence of the two waters being what is called the Main of great run
of the Grove. Thence up the meanders of the river about fifty poles to
the corner of John Neals land (a white oak) thence as John Neals line
No. 85 Wt. 238 poles to a pine his corner, thence the same course
continued 20 pole to a stake on Isaac Hunters line, thence along his
line South 27, Et. 50 poles to a stake his corner. Thence up the swamp
with inside or open line a course nearly South 85 Wt. 190 poles to a
cypress George Williams's corner by the creek thence to the creek and
down the meanders thereof to the river the place of the begining.
