(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 344, & 345 George Morrisey To William Hubbard Bill of Sale State of North Carolina Duplin County Be it Known that I George Morrisey of the County & Stae aforesaid have, Bargained sold and delivered and by these presents do bargain sell and Deliver unto William Hubbard of the County and State aforesaid one Mollatto Slave named Dick which Negroe slave I warrant against any claims or claimants whatsoever having Recd. a consideration of one hundred and forty pounds before the Ensealing hereof dated June the second 1791 signed sealed and Delivered in presence of George Morrisey Kenan Love F. McCarthy State of No. Carolina Duplin County July Term 1791 Then was the within Bill of Sale proved in open Court by the oath of Kenan Love and ordered to be Registered. Test W. Dickson C. C.
