G. E. Houston to H. W. Houston

	This Indenture made the 10 of September one thousand Eight hundred and thirty 
two between Geo. E. Houston of the County of Duplin and State of North Carolina of the 
one part & Henry W. Houston of County & State aforesaid witnesseth that the said Geo. 
E. Houston for and in the consideration of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid before 
the sealing of these presents by the said Henery W. Houston the receipt where of is hereby 
acknowledge have bargain sold & delivered & by these presents doth bargain sell convey & 
confirm to the said Henry W. Houston two tracts or parcels of land lying & being in the 
county of Duplin and on the est. side of no. East river & on the head waters of horse branch 
and is bounded in the following lines first beginning on a pine y the blew pond Williams corner 
thence with his line wt. 127 pole to a pine his corner thence with his other line no. 60 pole to 
a stake his corner thence wt. 90 pole to pine on the Soractia line thence with that line no. 
20 Est 90 pole to a black jack thence Est 100 to a pine on Lolsegs line thence with his line 
So. 25 wt 28 pole to a pine thence So. 85 et 60 pole to a stake thence to the beginning 
containing one hundred acres more or less Allso 2nd pice beginning on a stake on my own 
line and Web Huston line and run with his line So. 58 Et. 215 pole to a stake Jacob Williams 
corner thence with his line So. 8 pole to pine his corner thence So. 68 wt. 130 pole to a pine 
on his own line thence to the beginning containing Eighty three acres to gether with all and 
Singular the tenaments privaledges thereto belonging in any wise belonging to have & to hold 
the aforesaid land and primeis to him the said Henry W. Houston his hires and assigns for ever 
from and against the lawfull claim of any person or persons whatever and the said George E. 
Huston do hereby warrant and defend the afore said land and primices to him the said Henry W. 
Houston his heirs & assigns from & against the Lawfull claim of all person whatsoever in witness 
whereof the said George E. Houston hath hereunto set my hand and 
fixt my seal the day & date above written

The execution of the within deed is duly proved in open court by the oath of James B. Judge a
