Frederick Wells six hundred and forty acres of land in Duplin County 
between Island Creek and Cabbin branch pocosons.  Begining at a 
pine on the side of Cabbin nigh Sloans line and Avers Horse pen ford 
thence So. 40 Et. 160 poles to a pine, thence crossing a prong of 
Cabbin Branch Et. 260 poles to a stake on his own line thence his 
line So. 60 poles to a pine, thence crossing a branch of Island Creek 
same course So. 200 poles to a stake thence No. 55 Wt. 260 poles 
to a stake then So. 80 Wt. 250 poles to a pine thence No. 20 Wt. 
310 pole to a stake on Slones line five poles from his corner, thence 
Sloans line So. 70 Et. 200 poles then to the begining.
