Frederick Wells one hundred and thirty acres of land in Duplin County 
on the north side of the North Branch of Taylors Creek and West side 
the Gaulberry.  Begining at a pine David Sloans corner thence No. 75 
Wt. 122 poles to a pine on his own line by the head of the North Branch 
by the School House prong thence So. 120 poles along his own line to a 
black jack his corner thence So. 59 East 40 poles to a pine Shadrach 
Stallings corner thence his line South 148 poles to a pine his corner 
thence East 40 poles to a stake by the Gaulberry, thence to the begining.

Dated the 11th day of July 1788
