Granted to Elisha Woodward two hundred acres of land in Duplin COunty Wt. side the North East
River and So. side of Persimmon Swamp and No. side of Stocking head swmap. Begining at a pine
his corner formerly James Mills's of Leonard Mills's. Thence Mills's old line No. 35 Wt. 60
poles to a small pine in a Meadow. Thence Ephraim Garrasons line North 35 East 20 poles to a
pine his corner. Then No. 18 Et. or nearly that course about 70 poles to a large pine formerly
William Hunters corner. Thence a line said to be Hunters or Laws's line North 25 Et. 84 poles
to a red oak the corner. Thence another of said Hunters or Laws's lines So. 35 Et. 160 poles
to a stake in the head of a drean. Thence No. 53 Et. 50 poles to a pine formerly Rutherfurds
corner. Thence on said south 38 Et. 160 to a pine then to the begining.
