Elisha Faifless one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the East side of the North 
East River on the head of Sams branch.  Joining John Herrings line.  Begining at a pine 
Herrings corner and runs with his line Wt. 20 poles to a pine.  Thence So. 80 poles to a 
pine by a pond.  Thence Et. 100 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 180 poles to a pine.  
Thence Wt. 80 poles to a stake on Herrings line.  Thence to the begining.
