(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book B Page 13 Edward Pearsall one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the North Side of the Grove Swamp between Kers Branch and the Mill Branch. Begining at a pine the first corner of a survey of one hundred and fifty acres that was pattend by John Miller thence said Millers Line of a survey of 300 acres So. 60. Wt. 80 pole to a poplar the 6th corner of said survey of 300 acres thence the other line of said survey No. 30. Wt. 120 pole to a Black Jack the 5th corner of said tract. Thence the other line So. 60 Wt. 40 poles to a pine the 4th corner. Thence along said patten line No. 30 Wt. 50. poles to a pine the 3rd corner thereof thence No. 60. Et. 40 poles to a stake on John Johnstones line thence his line of a survey of 300 acres So. 45. Et. 32 poles to a stake contining to a pine and Blackjack his fourth corner. Thence his other line No. 40 Et. 42 poles to a Black Jack his 3rd corner thence his other line No. 5. Wt. 80 pole to a pine his 2nd corner and the 5th of John Millers 150 acre survey thence the open line of said 150 acre tract to the begining. Dated November the 10th 1784
