Edward Dickson seventy five acres of land in Duplin County on the North side of
Rockfish Creek at the mouth of Bens Creek. Begining at a white oak at the run
of the creek his own corner of another survey that was patened by Clifton Brown.
Thence as that line No. 36 Et. 28 pole to a large poplar and small white oak in
Little Branch. Thence along Thomas Clarks line So. 23 East 130 pole crossing
Bens Creek to Clarks corner. Thence along Anne Clarks line So. 20 Et. 112 pole
to a pine. Thence So. 60 Wt. 24 poles to a maple. Thence along Blakes line No.
73 Wt. 52 pole to a gum at the run of Rockfish, thence as the Creek to the begining.
Dated the Tenth day of Nov. 1784
