DEED TO WILLIE BOSTIC 
FROM SARAH E. BOSTIC (1884)

This Indenture made the 26th day of January AD 1884, by and between SARAH E. 
BOSTIC of the County of Duplin in the State of North Carolina of the 1st part 
and WILLIE BOSTIC of the same County and State of the 2nd part Witnesseth: That 
for the consideration of the natural love for my son WILLIE BOSTIC and for the 
sum of one dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
have given granted and conveyed unto my beloved son WILLIE BOSTIC a certain 
piece or parcel of land in the said County and State on the East side of Muddy 
Creek adjoining the land of  Jesse T.(Thomas) Bostic and others.  Beginning at 
a stake on the run of the said Creek Jesse Bostic corner and runs with his line 
East about 222 poles to a stake in Gall Berry Branch thence up said Branch about 
35 poles to a stake thence West about 230 poles to a stake on the run of Muddy 
Creek thence up said run to the beginning, containing thirty-five (35) acres 
more or less (1st excepting my life estate on the above lands and premises) to 
have and to hold the same unto him the said WILLIE BOSTIC his heirs and assigns 
forever.  To be free and clear from any person or persons claiming under through 
or by me Excepting however my life estate on the same.

     The due execution of the annexed Deed of Conveyance was proven before me by 
	 the oath of JESSE SANDLIN the subscribing witness thereto.  Witness my hand 
	 and seal this January 12th AD 1886.

NORTH CAROLINA, DUPLIN COUNTY
     The foregoing certificate of O. W. Quinn an acting Justice of the Peace of 
	 Duplin County at the time of marking of the same is adjudged to be correct.  
	 Let the deed with the certificates be registered this January 23rd 1897.
