(Transcribed by Jesse Thomas Bostic, Jr. and Elizabeth Bostic Ross) Survey for THOMAS QUIN (QUINN), one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County, East side of the Northeast River on both sides of the White Oak Branch of Limestone Creek, beginning at a Gum his old corner in White Oak Branch, thence his old line South 3 degrees East 76 poles to a Pine, the old corner, thence the old line South 20 degrees West 100 poles to a pine stake near Cox's corner, thence North 10 degrees East 204 poles to a Pine, thence North 80 degrees West 160 poles crossing White Oak Branch to a White Oak sapling, thence South 10 degrees West 126 poles to a pine Stake on his own line of a survey of 100 acres, thence that line South 60 degrees East 24 poles to a Water Oak in the swamp his corner, thence to the beginning. 5 march 1784 Jno.
