MICHAEL J. KENAN, Entry Officer of Claims for lands in the County of Duplin
To the surveyor of said county, GREETINGS
You are hereby required, as soon as may be, to lay off and survey
for CHARLES BOSTICK a tract or parcel of land containing one hundred
and fifty acres lying in the county aforesaid on the East side of
Muddy Creek crossing his own line at HENRY HALL'S lines.
Observing the directions of the Act of Assembly is such case made
and provided for running out lands into just and fair plans of such
survey, with a proper certificate annexed to each, you are to
transmit with this warrant to the Secretary's office without delay.
Given under my hand at Duplin the 19th day of February Anno Domini 1787

ISSUED 11 July 1788
Survey for CHARLES BOSTICK, 150 acres of land in Duplin County, North Carolina,
beginning at a pine his own corner and turns South 65 degrees West 70 poles with
his line to a White Oak on the edge of Allan's Swamp thence North 7 degrees
West 16 poles into the swamp to DREW HALL'S corner, thence South 75 degrees
East 120 poles to a lightwood stump said HALL'S line, thence South 50 degrees
East 120 poles to a pine, thence South 70 degrees East 146 poles, thence with
WOODWARD'S line South 80 degrees West 160 poles to a pine and BOSTICK'S corner
thence to the beginning December 28, 1784.
