Granted to David Williams one Hundred & forty acres of land in Duplin County. On the west 
side of the main Creek of Rockfish. Beginning at a pine in the gap of the Pocoson running 
thence S. 88.10°. 262. poles to a stake on Jonathan Willises line. Thence as his line N. 
20.10°. 61. pole to a stake on Joseph Williams line. Thence as his line E. 62 poles to a 
stake. Thence N. 60°. E. 120. poles to a pine on his own line. Thence to the beginning. 
Dated the 18th day of Dec. in the 19th year of our independence 1794.

corner thence as his other line N. 20° W. 108 pole to a stake at his other corner-Thence N. 
68°. W. 22 pole to a pine Willsons other corner-Thence as his other line N. 66° W. 88 pole 
to a pine on his own or Mirideths line, Thence to the begining.
