David Alderman one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on the No. 
Side of Rockfish Creek calles by some the Miry Meadow.  Begiing at a pine John 
Aldermans corner thence across a branch with his line So. 55 Wt. 40 poles to a 
maple thence No. 35 Wt. 140 poles to a pine thence No. 55 Wt. 120 poles to a 
stake thence So. 35 Et. 244 poles to a pine thence So. 55 Wt. 76 poles to a 
pine on John Aldermans line thence as the same to the begining.

Dated the Tenth day of November 1784
