Danil C Moore To Wm J Price

Deed 1 1/4 acre & 16 poles

This Indenture made on the 5th day of February AD one Thousand Eight hundred and thirty 
nine between Danil C Moore of the County of Duplin and State of North Carolina on the one 
part and William J Price of the same County and State on the other part Witnesseth that the 
said Danil C Moore for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to him in hand paid 
by the said William J Price the receipt where of is hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained 
sold conveyed and confirmed & by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey and 
forever confirm unto the said William J Price his heirs and assigns a certain tract of 
parcel of land in the County of Duplin & State aforesaid and adjoining the town or commons 
of Kenansvill bounded as follows viz begining at a stake on the village line about wt 12 
No two hundred and ninty seven feet from the court House and runs thence No 6 Et 26 3/4 
poles to a stake in Moores field thence No 81 Wt 8 1/2 poles to a stake the corner of a 
lot purchased by James Carrell from the said Moore at the same time thence So 6 Wt 28 1/4 
poles to a stake on the village line thence with the village line to the begining containing 
one acres one Quarter and 16 poles more or less to have and to hold  the said lands and 
premises and all and singular the tenainents waters mines improvement previledges and apertinance 
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said Wm J Price his heirs and 
assigns in fee simple forever and the said Daniel C Moore and his heirs the premises hereby 
conveyed to the said Wm J Price shall and will warrant and forever defend from the lawful claim 
or claims of any and all persons at whatsoever and lastly that he the said Daniel C. Moore hath 
full poser and lawfull authority to convey the aforesaid land & premises in manner and form 
aforesaid and that the said Wm J Price his heirs and assigns shall have and hold peaceable and 
quit possession of the same free from all and any judgements executions mortgages as other 
incumbrances done at suffered by the said Daniel C Moore or any other person whatsoever In 
testimony where of the said Daniel C Moore doth hereunto set his hand and seal the date above 
written
