(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 66, & 67 Daniel Williams to George Morrisey Deed 100 acres This Indenture made this 12th day of May one thousand seven hundred and Ninety, between Daniel Wiliams of the State of North Carolina and County of Sampson of the one part and George Morrisey of the Stat and County aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that I the said Daniel Williams doth for and in consideration of the sum of Ten pounds to me in hand well and Truly paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have given, granted, bargain sell & deliver convey and confirm enfeoffe to him the said Georfe Morrisey his heirs Excrs. admrs. & assigns, a certain Tract or parcel of Land lying, situate and being in the County of Duplin and State aforesaid on a branch of turkey on bothe sides of the main road, about half a mile from the old Court house begining at a pine formerly Joseph Williams corner and runs along said line south forty five degrees west one hundred and sixty poles to a pine thence south forty five degrees East one hundred poles to a pine thence to the begining, containing in the whole one hundred acres granted to me the said Daniel William by patent bearing date the Eighteenth day of April one thousand seven hundred and seventy one signed by William Tryon Esq. Captain General Governor & together will all the woods, waters heriditaments and appertainances to the said Lands belonging or appertaining to hold to him the said George Morrisey his heirs and assigns forever against me the said Daniel Williams, my heirs Excrs. admrs. or assigns or any other person or persons claiming the same be from or under me. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal. signed sealed and deli Daniel Williams vered in presence of James Spiller John Fort State of No. Carolina Duplin County October Term 1790 Then was the within Deed proved in open Court by the oath of James Spiller and ordered to be registered.
