Daniel Hicks nine hundred and forty acres of land in Duplin County East side the
Six Runs on the heads of Gators branch. Begining at a small pine Boons corner.
Thence as Thompsons line No. 5 Et. 140 poles to a pine thence East 35 poles to
a pine then along said Hicks's own line No. 140 poles to a stake thence No. 75
Wt. 270 poles along his own line of another survey. Thence No. 30 Wt. 60 poles
to a water oak in a pind thence his other line No. 57 Et. 100 poles to a white oak.
Thence along Thomas Hicks's line No. 33 Wt. 96 poles to a black jack. Thence
along his own line Wt. 102 poles to a pine thence his open line of a survey of two
hundred acres So. 188 poles to a pine thence his other line Wt. 64 poles to a pine
Joseph Herrings corner thence his line So. 140 poles to a red oak by a branch.
Thence his other line So. 60 Wt. 66 poles to a dead red oak. Thence his other
line So. 76 Wt. 74 poles to a white oak. Thence So. 36 Et. 42 poles to a pine
Dovid Dodds corner. Thence as hi line So. 60 Et. 150 poles to a red oak.
Thence the same course 172 poles to a white oak thence to the begining.
