Brittain Powell one hundred and forty acres of land in Duplin County 
on the No. side of the Doctors Creek or the Miery Meadow including 
his improvements.  Begining at a gum on the run of the creek on 
William Blanns line.  Thence as the same No. 80 Et. 46 poles to a 
red oak his corner.  Thence as his other line So. 10 Et. 72 pole to a 
water oak in Gum Branch.  Thence up the same as it meanders with 
Newtons line 146 poles to a red oak in the fork, Thence No. 100 pole 
to a black jack.  Thence West 128 poles to a pine thence So. 40 poles 
to the run of the creek and down the same as it meanders to the 
first station.
