Benjamin Tanner one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin
County on the west side of the No. East River and No. side of
Persimmon Swamp. Begining at a pine his own corner. The
first station of James Gillespies three hundred acre survey.
Thence his own line No. 45 Wt. 128 poles to a lightwood stump.
Thence So. 45 Wt. 37 poles to a gum in the creek edge. Thence
down the creek 206 poles to a Holley on Ebenezer Garrisons line
12 poles from his corner, thence his line No. 55 Et. 143 poles to
a black jack his corner. Thence No. 10 Wt. 160 po. to a pine by
Gillespies line and with Gillespies and his own line to the begining.
Dated the Twenty first day of September 1785
