(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 410, 411, & 412 Benjamin Sasser To Isaac Duncan Deed 200 acres This Indenture made this thirtieth day of December in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Between Benjamin Sasser of the one part and Isaac Duncan of the other part Witness that the said Benjamin Sasser for the valuable sum of fifty pounds to him in hand well and truly paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge himself to be fully satisfied and paid and he dothe hereby acquit and Discharge the said Isaac Duncan his heirs Executors administrators and assigns hath granted Bargained Sold Conveyed and Confirmed and for himself his heirs Executors administrators and assigns Doth freely and absolutely grant Bargain sell convey and forever convey and forever confirm unto the said Isaac Duncan his heirs or assigns one certain Tract or parcel of Land containing two hundred acres of Land be the same more or less lying and being on the north side of the No. East branch of Cape fair River and on the head of manses branch Bounded as follows beginning at a pine and running along aline of marked trees to the head of the Deep bottom and Down the bottom across the branch and along the marked trees to a consented corner a Black oak thence No. 45 Wt. to a pine thence No. 45 Et. 320 poles to the Beginning pine to have and to hold the said Two hundred acres of Land and premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging in as full and ample a manner as the said Benjamin Sasser by his said Pattent might or Could enjoy the same and the said Isaac Duncan his heirs or assign yielding and paying such publick taxes as Shall become due for the same from time to time on which Condition the said Isaac Duncan to have hold use occupy possess and Enjoy the said two hundred acres of Land and all singular the premises above mentioned and to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Isaac Duncan his heirs or assigns forever and the said Benjamin Sasser doth covenant and agree for himself his heirs Executors administrators and assigns to and with the said Isaac Duncan his heirs and assigns that he the said Benjamin Sasser doth hereby warrant and forever Defend the said Lands and premises above mentioned from the Lawfull Claim or Claims of any person or persons whatsoever to have and to hold and to enjoy the plantation and all other benefits within the said boundaries of two hundred acres of Land be the same more or less and that the said Isaac Duncan may forever hereafter peaceably and quietly enjoy the same from any interruption of the said Benjamin Sasser or any other person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Benjamin Sasser hath hereunto set his hand and seal.
