Granted to Benjamin Fussel twenty acres of land in Duplin County on a branch of
Rockfish called Fussels creek-Beginning at a gum and water Oak on the N. West
side of the run of said creek running thence as his old line S. 77°. W. 78 pole to
a white oak thence as his other line S. 15° E. 66 pole to a water oak at the run
thru west side of the main road. Thence up the narrows of the run to the first station.
Dated this 17th day of Decem. In the 19th year of our independence, and in the year
of our Lord 1794
