Granted to Arthur Herring seventy five acres of land in Duplin County on both side of a
drean of the Beaverdam that empties into the North East Marsh a little below Outlaws Road.
Begining at a red oak on the branch his own corner. THence his own line Et. 124 poles to
a black jack. Thence North 50 Wt. 70 poles to a pine Jonathan Keitleys corner. Thence
his line So. 70 Wt. 156 poles to a hickory. Thence So. 20 Et. with Michal Glissons line
32 poles to a black jack. Thence So. 65 Et. 45 poles to a stake on Goffs line. Thence
his line North 60 Et. 10 poles to a pine his corner. Thence Goffs other line South 30
Et. 56 poles to a pine on Michal Glissons as his line South 50 Et. 22 poles to a red oak
his corner. Thence So. 47 Et. 14 poles to a red oak. Then No. 50 Et. 24 poles to a maple
& gum. Thence his own line to the begining.
