(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 330, & 331 Anthony Miller To William Hubbard Deed 50 acres This Indenture made this sixteenth day of March and in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and Ninety. Between Anthony Miller of the one part and William Hubbard of the other part it Witnesseth that for and in the consideration of the sum of Ten pounds tome in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivering of these presents the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself to be fully satisfied contented and paid for every part and parcel thereof doth forever acquit and discharge the aforesaid William Hubbard his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever a certain Tract or parcel of Land being and lying in the County aforesaid and on the South side of poley branch and East side of the North East. Begining at a gum in the Run of Poley Branch where the main Road crosses and Runs down with the various courses of said Branch to the Mouth where it strikes Ellex McCullohs line thence with his line till it strikes John Mercers old line thence with his line the different courses till it strikes said McCullohs back line and from thence to the begining to conclude fifty acres be the same more or less it being part of a Tract of Land Patened by Mr. Alex McCulloh and transferred from him to Nichles Worley Reference being had may more fully appear which Land and premises I do hereby warrant and forever Defend unto the said Hubbard his heirs or assigs forever from me or my heirs or assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever from laying any Lawfull claim to the above Described Land and Premises. In witness whereof I have set my hand and afixt my seal day and year first above written and Mentioned.
