Andrew Gufford forty acres of land in Duplin County on the No. Side of Goshen 
Swamp.  Begining at a red oak near the Meadow Branch on Herrings line and 
runs No. 80 pole to a pine and white oak.  Thence Et. 80 pole to a lightwood 
stump in a meadow.  Thence So. 80 pole to a pine thence to the begining.

Dated October the 29th day 1782
