(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book B Page 4 Alexander Armstrong two hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the west side of Maxwell Swamp between Armstrong Branch and Jameys Branch begining at an ashe at the run of Jameys Branch on Abraham Beesleys line and his own corner of another survey thence as his own line No. 25 Wt. 72 pole to a red oak his own corner thence as his other line No. 23 Wt. 128 poles to a pine white oak and Black Jack his corner thence as his other line No. 67. Et. 66 poles to a poplar in Armstrongs Branch thence up the Branch as it meanders with James Williamses line 210 poles to a maple and gum thence So. 200 poles to a pine thence So. 80 Et. 80 poles to a water oak (Continued on Page 5) in Jameys Branch thence down the Branch with Abraham Beesleys line by various courses to the begining.
