No. 1236

Granted to Stephen Harp one hundred acres of land in Duplin County Et. side the No. Et. 
River and South side of Cypress creek on both side the Maine road.  Begining at a gum 
Ironwood pine and water oak on the South bank of Cypress creek.  Thence South 30. Wt. 
100 poles to a red oak called Hooks's corner.  Thence on or near to Hooks's line So. 70, 
West 130 poles to a Mulberry & Dogwood in an old field.  Thence No. 25, Wt. 130 poles to 
a water oak & White Oak on the creek bank at a sharp bend or Elbow thereof.  Thence up 
the creek as it Meanders to the first station.
