Granted to Stephen Gufford three hundred and ten acres of land in Duplin County on the waters 
of the North East & Goshen.  Begining at a pine west edge of the great branch.  Thence No. 63 
Wt. 20 poles to a pine on Andrew Guffords line.  Thence his line nearly No. 12 West 400 poles 
to a pine.  Thence No. 30 Et. 186 pole to a pine East Edge of Camp branch.  Thence North 75 Et. 
106 poles to a pine on Michael Glissons line then his line So. 40 Et. 20 poles to a pine his 
corner.  Then So. 20 Et. 100 poles to a white oak & pine.  Thence Kornegays line West 44 poles 
to a pine his corner.  Thence So. 85 Wt. 104 poles to a gum in a Marsh his corner.  Then his 
other line Nearly So. 240 poles to a pine.  Then Et. by a branch to poles to a Maple So. 17 Et. 
24 poles to a lightwood tree.  Then down Halfway bottom and the Great branch to the Begining.
