No. 1357

Granted to Joab Padget three hundred acres of land in Duplin County East side the North East 
River and South side of Muddy creek and on the dreans of jumping run.  Begining at a pine in 
John Fariors line Twenty poles from his upper corner and runs his line North 45 Wt. 300 poles 
to a pine.  Thence No. 43 poles to a pine.  Thence John Farriors line Et. 240 poles to a pine.  
Thence Et. 1210 poles to a pine.  Thence So. 18 Et. 100 poles to a pine.  Thence crossing 
jumping run Pocoson So. 42 Wt. 240 poles to a stake.  Thence to the Begining.
