Granted to James Thompson one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the West side of Stewarts
creek and East side of Buck hall. Begining at a white oak red oak & pine his own upper corner
of another survey. Thence Et. 60 poles to a white oak. Thence South 236 poles to a pine on
John Volentine Taylors line. Thence as the same Wt. 80 poles. Thence to the Begining.

the Main road on the Drains of buck Hall. Begining at a white oak Hancock Hatchers corner.
Thence as his line So. 10 Wt. 104 poles to a Maple and gum. Thence So. 85 Wt. 26 poles to a
red oak. Thence along Robert Hicks's lines No. 35 Wt. 17 pole to a pine. Thence No. 50 Wt.
40 poles to a pine. Thence So. 40 Wt. 28 poles to a pine. Thence So. 25 Et. 64 poles to a
black jack Boons corner. Thence Boons line So. 80 Wt. 142 pole to a pine. Thence No. 5 Et.
174 pole to a pine. Thence to and with Daniel Hicks's line East to the Begining.
