Granted to James Gillespie one hundred acres of land in Duplin County Et. side of the North 
Et. River joining Brocks Dicksons and Gillespies line.  Begining at a pine Abraham Newkirks 
corner on the old line of 580 acres Patened by Dickson Gillespie & McUbture,  Thence nearly 
So. 114 poles to a water oak & pine.  Brocks corner of a survey of 150 acres.  Thence Brocks 
line So. 70 Wt. 155 poles to a large pine his corner.  Thence No. 5 Wt. 95 poles to a stake 
on Dicksons & Gillespies old line.  Thence as the same No. 65 Et. to the Begining.
