Granted to Isaac Dawson forty five acres of land in Duplin County the North of Burncoat swamp
and East of the No. Et. River Swamp. Begining at a red oak David Carters corner formerly
Richard Saunders's corner. Thence So. 32 poles to a stake on the line of sd. Dawsons land.
Thence his line Wt. 60 poles to a pine. thence his other line So. 20 Et. 92 poles to a white
oak. Thence So. 25 Wt. 100 poles to a black jack. Thence No. 60 Wt. 26 poles to a pine his
old corner a little to the East of the main roal. Thence his other line No. 25 Et. 100 poles
to a blown down black jack his old corner. Thence No. 25 Wt. 116 poles to a stake in the head
of the Dividing Branch a little Wt. of the Road. Thence on or near Carters line to the Begining.
