No. 1371

Granted to Amos Johnston a tract of land containing one hundred acres lying and being in 
our County of Duplin on the Wt. side of back swamp above the horspin branch.  Begining on 
the East boundary of a 300 acre survey of said Johnstons at two pines and runs with his 
line No. 20 Wt. 90 poles to a pine his corner.  Then No. 60 Wt. 20 poles to two pines.  
Then No. 17 Et. 173 poles to a stake in the back swamp.  Then Et. 39 poles to a stake.  
Then. So. 260 poles to a stake.  Then West 39 poles to the Begining.
