Granted to Amos Johnston assgnee of John Dickson & Austin Bryan three hundred acres of land 
in Duplin County West side of the back Swamp and on both sides of Poplar branch and Horspen 
branch.  Begining at a pine near the Head of Poplar branch, runs North 20 Wt. 188 poles to a 
pine.  Thence No. 70 Et. 255 poles to a pine.  Thence So. 20 Et. 188 poles to a stake in the 
creek swamp.  Thence So. 70 Wt. 255 poles joining Nathan Wallers upper line to the Begining.
