Cool Whip Strawberry Cake Have you tried Cool Whip, sour cream and sugar as a topping for cake. It takes a 8oz of sour cream 1 cup of sugar blend together good, then add large container of cool whip (only cool whip others doesn't taste right) fold together good After making two pans of cake, slice cake to half's making four layers, ( I use uncoated denture floss) then layer with strawberries and then cool whip mixture. Do all layers, if place in ref. over night the coolwhip sets up like icing. My family likes to eat as soon as it's done.
